Huginn AI is built to collect as little as possible. It requires no account and no API key.

What the extension stores

A random, anonymous install id (a UUID), saved locally with chrome.storage.local. It contains no personal information and is used only to give each installation a fair daily usage limit. It is never linked to your identity.

What the extension sends, and where

When you click Build search, the text you type in the "Describe your ideal customer" box is sent to our processing service along with your anonymous install id. The service (1) uses an AI model provided by Anthropic to turn your description into Sales Navigator search filters, and (2) sends the resulting filter plan back to the extension.

• Your description is used only to produce the filters and is not stored after the request completes. The service keeps only aggregate counters (request counts per install id / network address, for rate-limiting and budget control) — never the content of your descriptions.
• The AI processing is performed by Anthropic and is subject to Anthropic's privacy policy. We send Anthropic only the description text needed to build the search — never your install id.

What the extension does NOT do

• It does not read, collect, scrape, or store any data from LinkedIn or Sales Navigator. It only constructs a search URL and opens it; the search runs in your own logged-in session.
• It contains no analytics, tracking, advertising, or third-party SDKs.
• It does not sell or share your data, and does not collect your name, email, browsing history, or contacts.

Permissions

• storage — to save the anonymous install id on this device.
• Network access to our service — for the one request that builds your search filters.

Data retention

• Descriptions: not retained after the request is processed.
• Usage counters: short-lived and expire automatically (daily counters within ~2 days, monthly budget counters within ~40 days).
